From a Few Jobs a Week to a Few a Day: How Tony Tecco Is Scaling His Pumping Business
When Tony Tecco took over Arkansas Septic Pumping, he was lucky to get a few jobs a week. Now, just two years later, he’s running two trucks and handling multiple jobs a day—proving what’s possible with the right tools and mindset.
Tony’s company has been serving Arkansas for over 15 years, and in the past two years under his leadership, the business has seen serious growth.
From a Few Jobs a Week to Multiple Per Day
When Tony took over ownership, Arkansas Septic Pumping was doing a few jobs per week. Now, they’re handling multiple jobs every day, which meant it was time to expand.
“We were lucky to do a few [jobs] a week, and now we’re kind of doing a few a day—hence why we got a new truck.”
That new truck marks a major milestone—Tony now runs two full-time trucks to keep up with the growing demand.
Strange Things in the Septic World
When we asked Tony about the funniest thing he’s ever seen on the job, his answer was memorable:
“Tucker was pumping a tank at this old, old house... all of a sudden he saw a hand pop up. He sucked around it again, and it was about a two-foot baby doll from the 1950s!”
Just another day in the world of septic—where you never know what’s going to surface.
Looking Ahead
As for the future, Tony is focused on continuing to grow the pumping side of his business—not installation—and plans to expand even more in the years ahead.
“Hopefully maybe add another truck in another two years.”
We’re proud to be part of Tony’s journey and look forward to building with him again when that time comes.
